It is said the Posse Comitatus Act prohibits the use of the U.S. Military on U.S. soil. The Posse Comitatus was designed after the civil war by the Democratic party to keep the federal government from using it to stop the southern Democrats from inflicting violence on white and, black republicans (The north).

It was to rebuild confidence in the states rights to enforce its own laws and, remove all Union and, Confederate forces.
It states that Congress has the right to call upon the military in case of security issues.
No where in the act, nor in President Obama's 2011 amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act does it remove Congresses power from authorizing the use of the military on the border.
Section 15, of the original act which has not been amended in this area, states the use of the military is expressly prohibited except said force is authorized by Congress.
This places the law right in congresses lap!
I would say Congress you see whats happening down on the border get off your hind quarters and, pass a bill authorizing the use of the military on the border.
The bill I know, will pass the House where its going to have to start from then we can see if the Senate has the nerve to say no to the American people.
The legislature says it has to be approved by Congress, it does not say anything about whither the President has to approve it or, not.

There are many types of invasions, though this is not military one, it still is an invasion.
